Toddlers can explore Weather & Seasons @Bristol

At-Bristol, the family-fun science attraction on Bristol’s Harbourside, will again open its doors to toddlers this Friday 6 May. ‘Come rain or shine’ is the latest in a series of themed Toddler Takeover days exclusively for under fives.

Expect lots of fun exploring the wonderful weather and the different colourful seasons of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Little ones will get the chance to make a windmill and see how fast the sails spin, have fun playing with magic snow and hunting for muddy puddles around the science centre.

Toddlers will also be able to dress up in wintery costumes, create their own weather wheel to take home and listen to a story about a magic carpet travelling the world. All the fun will take place in At-Bristol on Friday 6 May between 10am-4pm and activities are included in a reduced admission price.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to get star struck in the ‘Little Stars’ Planetarium show, especially for under fives. At-Bristol’s youngest astronomers will be taken on a journey into outer space, as they blast-off in a rocket and spot twinkly stars in the night sky.

At-Bristol also has a further 300 hands-on exhibits to enjoy, including the latest All About Us experience. Mum’s will have the opportunity to reflect on the nine stages of pregnancy that passed them by and discover the walk in womb. Other young family favourites include ‘In the Jungle’ and ‘Jet, set, go’ designed with At-Bristol’s youngest visitors in mind. Plus, there is an array of interactive exhibits involving sand, water and bubbles that never fail to entertain!

The fun-packed Toddler Takeover days offer family-friendly facilities for parents and carers including; a picnic area with high chairs, buggy parks and nappy changing facilities. Toddler Takeover days are also a great way to meet other likeminded parents and carers and for children of a similar ages to interact with each other.

Make sure you don’t miss out on the toddler fun! For further information see www.at-bristol.org.uk or call At-Bristol on 0845 345 1235.
