“Will” and “Kate” go Free at London Zoo

As the elite and famous get ready for the Royal Wedding this week, ZSL is announcing its own special invitation. Anyone with the name ‘Will’ or ‘Kate’ is invited to a free day out at ZSL London Zoo or ZSL Whipsnade Zoo to celebrate the Royal Wedding.

This weekend from Friday 29 April to Monday 2 May, those lucky enough to share their first name with Prince William or his blushing bride-to-be, Kate, can enjoy a free day out at the Zoo to mark the royal occasion.

Royal namesakes should head to ZSL London Zoo to mark the regal occasion with a day out with the animals, including the impressive Asian lions and rather majestic giraffes.

Over at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo Wills and Kates can take a ride on the Jumbo Express, watch the Sealions splash about in their pool and make sure to pay a visit to the herd of Asian elephants to watch them play in their paddock at the 600-acre zoo.

If your name is Will or Kate (or William, or Catherine, or Wills, or Cat…) then bring your passport along to ZSL London or Whipsnade Zoo on the Royal Wedding weekend and enjoy a great day out for free.

Family Fun: Follow the Royal Wedding Trail

Treasure hunt specialists, Treasure Trails have devised some fun and quirky Royal Wedding Trails to get the whole family into the patriotic spirit.

If you are making the trip to the capital for the big day or in the next couple of montsh you can help Prince Harry, who’s gotten himself into a bit of a trouble – he’s manage to lose the wedding rings! ‘The missing ring: a right royal riddle’ is a walking and fictional treasure hunt which invites families and friends to get outside and explore the route of the Royal Wedding procession while solving some sneaky clues. The Trail, which starts at St James’s Park station and ends at Buckingham Palace, is designed to be completed in your own time, and successful treasure seekers can submit their entry for a chance to win a cash prize.

For those who prefer to avoid the hubbub of the city, but want to experience some Treasure Trail fun, there is an alternative FREE version you can complete from the comfort of your living room!
‘The Quest for Everlasting Happiness’ is a Royal Wedding Quiz Trail which follows the handsome Prince Will and his fair maiden Kate on their romantic journey to a ‘happy ever after’. Treasure Trails have produced this special Royal Wedding Trail that can be completed without moving a muscle from the comfort of your armchair, pub stool or street party table; except maybe to lift your glass to raise a toast to the Happy Couple!

The Trail will take you on a virtual tour through the lives of Prince William and Catherine Middleton, featuring royal trivia, a romantic quest and some quintessentially British fun and games which will be enjoyed by all ages. Solving Royal Wedding themed clues based on amazing anecdotes and fascinating facts about the royal pair, “Trailgoers” will eventually locate William and Kate’s ‘happy ever after’ and can enter a competition to be in with the chance of winning some special Treasure Trails goody bag prizes.

Meet the Royal Family at Madame Tussauds

Up until 6th May visitors to Madame Tussauds, London, will be able to step into Royal Bride Kate Middleton’s shoes, as her Prince Charming takes centre stage in the Royal Zone to celebrate their nuptuals.

The hugely popular figure of Prince William has been re-positioned to a more central position with plenty of room for visitors to get up close. He has also had a spruce-up to ensure he is looking his absolutely best, re-dressed in a dapper blue suit, hair trimmed and shoes smartly polished.

Prince William’s figure was created in 2005 and is featured in a special Royal area at the world famous attraction along with The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry.

It is hoped that Royal Bride, Kate Middleton, will join the Madame Tussauds Royal Family soon after her wedding when a new figure of Prince William will also be created.

Littlelegends is Changing!

Everything has been very quiet at LittleLegends for two main reasons. Firstly, it has been the Easter Holidays, so I have been busy having fun with the kids. But, secondly, I have an exciting new project on the go! This means that the face of LittleLegends is changing and it is likely to be a bit chaotic around here for a while. I can’t tell you any more at the moment …. just watch this space :)
