    How about Moonfleet Manor in Dorset (same chain as Fowey Hall) and Bedruthan Steps in Cornwall.
    Both super-expensive, but in the days when we could afford it we enjoyed both.
    The kids are always saying “When can we go back to Bedruthan Steps?”!

    Great suggestions. I remember Bedruthan Steps from when I was a kid so it must have made a good impact! I didn’t include it because although it is expensive I am not sure it would count as a luxury hotel.
