So what is a snap band?
As the name suggests, they “snap” around the wrist, or on bike handles or school bag handles making it fun to stay safe and stay seen. The bands are made from the same 3M Scotchlite Reflective Materials worn by emergency services personnel around the world – making them ideal for increasing the visibility of children as they walk to and from school

When the snap bands arrived on my door step I was not expecting much interest from my children considering they are a safety item. How wrong I was. My kids have been wearing them non-stop ever since they arrived. They love the fact that they are so flourescent and believe that they give them special powers! Also, they have spent hours happily snapping and unsnapping them (from straight to curly and back) and even insist on going to bed with them. All my children’s friends are now asking for one!
You can win a snap band by simply leaving a comment to this post. Just explain why you want the snap band and I will give the band to the person who leaves the best comment.

Actually, I would love to win a snap band for myself. It would enable me to move away from my snoring husband without the use of lights and hopefully less stumbling when trying to clutch a pillow and quilt.
The next cold, rainy, dark morning,I could simply pass it on to him making his trip to the market for fresh croissants and chocolate bread even safer …
Obviously I adore the concept of the snap bands, would love to get a few for friends in the community also actually. I know loads of kids here who will enjoy them not least the local teenagers! Or so they tell me. LOL.
Peace.
What a great idea! Maybe if I get one big enough I could wear it around my bump on the tube and people would have no excuse not to give up their seat – bliss!
Very snazzy, practical, obviously quick and easy to attach to arms, ankles, bags….all sorts. Excellant idea. I could do with a set for my cycle commute to work!!
These are fantastic, as much for being toys as anything. I remember similar ones from when I was a kid – great fun, but now good for kids’ safety as well. How can I get some?
Just so you know, this competition is now closed.
