Nits!
Rupert recently came to visit his nephews bringing with him a Transformers DVD. They were so pleased that they decided they had to give him something in return – nits! We were all scratching away and it turns out that the infernal things are now resistant to those stinky treatments I remember from my childhood.
After much experimentation I have found the best way to get rid of them is to pile on a load of conditioner (any type will do) and comb through the boys’ hair whilst they watch a DVD. I ordered a great comb online at http://www.nittygritty.co.uk which really seems to work. I am so paranoid every time I scratch my head now that I am still combing mine and the boys’ hair every few days!
